Woodson County has it’s first positive case of COVID-19

WOODSON COUNTY, Kan. – Health officials say a Woodson County, Kansas test was confirmed positive for COVID-19 this afternoon.

The testing was confirmed through the KDHE lab in Topeka. The Woodson County Public Health Department is working to investigate, identify and contact individuals who have been exposed.

Health officials plan to release more information at a later time.

The Woodson County Public Health Department urges the public to continue to take appropriate actions, “Everyone should practice good hygiene, stay informed, practice social distancing and limit in-person interactions, and avoid travel whenever possible.”
