Woman dies in Crawford County crash
CRAWFORD COUNTY, Kan. – A young woman is dead after a crash in Crawford County.
The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened a little after 3 a.m. on Sunday morning north of the intersection of 100th street and US-400 Highway.
Authorities say the driver, 25-year-old Savannah Murillo, was traveling northbound when she struck a concrete culvert and rolled her vehicle.
Murillo was pronounced dead on the scene.
First responders removed a trapped passenger from the car. She was taken to Ascension Via Christi to be treated for her injuries.
A third passenger declined medical treatment.
