Woman dies from cardiac arrest in McDonald County Police custody
MCDONALD COUNTY, Mo – A woman dies in custody due meth related cardiac arrest in McDonald County.
Authorities say Lynda-Beth (Meekins) McCausland died from cardiac arrest last month after having 5,000 milliliters of methamphetamine in her system.
McCausland was arrested on the 22nd of July after she threatened to burn down a house at 44 Hodson Way in McDonald County.
McCausland died at Neosho hospital.
Authorities say it takes 1,500 milliliters of methamphetamine to kill a person.
