…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST
THURSDAY…

* WHAT…Freezing drizzle and freezing rain. Ice accumulations of
a few hundredths of an inch to as much as one quarter inch
across parts of southeast Kansas. A light accumulation of snow
is possible tonight across central Kansas.

* WHERE…Portions of Central, South Central and Southeast
Kansas.

* WHEN…Until 6 AM CST Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The icy conditions will impact this
mornings commute, especially across southern Kansas. Freezing
rain later today and tonight across southeast Kansas could
result in treacherous travel with some power outages possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
