Wendy Sue Slavens

Wendy Sue Slavens, 56, of Commerce, Oklahoma passed from this life on June 6, 2022 at Integris Hospital in Miami, Oklahoma. Wendy was born in La Phuenta, California to James and Bennie (Norris) Hendrickson.
Wendy attended high school in Riverside, California. She later married her husband of twenty-eight years, David Slavens. Between them they had seven children. Wendy was a treasure hunter. She loved searching for items that brought her joy and happiness. She loved her music. When it came to her music it could never be too loud. She loved her friends. More than anything she loved her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Bennie Hendrickson, her son, Scotty Davis, brother, Craig Hendrickson, and sister, Brenda Stamps.
Those left to share the beautiful memory of Wendy is her husband, David Slavens of the home, Son, Eric Hendrickson and his wife, Marie of Miami, son, David Slavens of Commerce, daughters Mikka Davis of Miami, Susan Davis of Enid, Oklahoma, Jessica Slavens of Pittsburg, Kansas, and Kimberly Hendrickson of California. She also leaves behind three brothers James, Robin, and Scott Hendrickson.
