Man falls off top of historic Rainbow Bridge in Cherokee County

CHEROKEE COUNTY, Kan. – Just after 12:15 p.m. Friday Cherokee County E-911 were alerted to reports of a man suffering traumatic injuries at the Rainbow Bridge over Brush Creek north of Baxter Springs on historic US-66 and SE Beasley Road. Cherokee County EMS, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Deputies, Baxter Springs Fire Dept and other emergency services responded. Read the whole story here.

Manure scattered across 249 at Zora, 6 vehicles crash in slick mess

JASPER COUNTY, Mo. – About 4:50 p.m. Saturday afternoon Jasper County emergency 911 were alerted to multiple vehicles off the roadway 249 N at Zora. Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper Joe Drum tells us on scene, six vehicles crashed as thousands of pounds of cow manure scattered across 249 N beginning on the overpass of Zora. Chicken Mary’s property is for sale for $1.1 million

PITTSBURG, Kan. – A realty company posts Chicken Mary’s property for sale. So what does this mean? Cobb Realty, Inc. posted the property for $1,100,000. It’s located at 1133 E. 600th Ave. in Pittsburg, Kansas. KOAM spoke with a manager who says the restaurant is not closing. Multiple shots fired during Miami car chase; one arrested

MIAMI, Okla. – A Miami man is in police custody following a car chase; police report multiple shots fired. According to the police, the report came in around 8:00 a.m. The caller stated two vehicles were chasing each other and the occupant of one vehicle was shooting at the other.
