Wednesday Night/Thursday AM Blog: Warming up, but more strong storm systems
Warming up, but more strong storm systems
Good Thursday morning! I hope your week is going great! Mine has been busy but great! I am actually off today. As a lot of you know, I am a diehard (like lose my voice screaming) Chiefs fan. Well of course I can’t work during a Chiefs game. Plus on a two game skid with my team barely hanging on b/c the defense is awful and half our starters are hurt. I think the Chiefs are really going to struggle with the Broncos, so lets see what kind of mood I am in tomorrow. Okay, weather! We have a couple nice days. But changes are coming.
Take a look at the radar below.
Sunny and near 70 toady. Mid 70s on Friday. We do have a system on Friday night. I think we will get through high school football, but after midnight a band of showers and a few thunderstorms.
I am also hoping these will be out of here early Saturday, we have Maple Leaf in Carthage. As of right now they should be. Most of the weekend looks good, but the next system in late on Sunday. Mainly after 4pm.
This will cool us down again early next week, but a quick warm up. Much stronger system late next week. We should get some good freezes in here soon. I need to get my boat winterized! I can see a lot more of this new pattern now. I am 100% sure on the new cycle. So I have this down pretty pat. We aren’t in the best track to see snow again this winter. However, we are going to get some good arctic air that we are going to have a few and it will be more than last winter. I will keep you updated on this of course. Check out my long range forecast below.
