Wednesday Blog: Heat slowly returning. Long range forecast.

I hope your week is going great so far and of course you are enjoying the fantastic temperatures we have had the past three days.  We did officially hit 100 degrees on Saturday, so this has been so much better.  Now, the heat is slowly returning, but the humidity hasn’t yet kicked back in which is great.  But this won’t last for to long so make sure you enjoy it.  Lets look at Wednesday.

Wednesday

Not much humidity on Wednesday, but it does slowly increase on Thursday.

Thursday

Lower 90s on Thursday with a heat index in the mid 90s.  Back into the mid 90s on Friday.

Friday

We do have a cold front that at least gets near the region late Friday and Saturday.  This will give us chances for scattered thunderstorms.  At this time, it doesn’t look widespread, but something I will watch.  Again Saturday afternoon with that front near by, chances for scattered thunderstorms.

Saturday

The front creeps back toward the north on Sunday and Monday.  We could get an isolated storms, but mainly hot, humid and fairly dry.

The 4th

We are only about 2 and a half months away from the new Heady Pattern.  We will start that transition from old to new here in the next couple of weeks.  Check out the long range forecast below.

July 17th-July 23rd: Warm for Sunday and Monday before hot temperatures return for the rest of the week. Slight t-storm chances Sunday, Wednesday and Saturday.

July 24th-July 30th: With the exception of a warm Thursday and Friday, hot for the week. Slight t-storm chances Sunday through Wednesday.

July 31st-August 6th: Hot for much of the week before we back down to warm temperatures by Friday and Saturday. Slight t-storm chances Monday through Friday.
