JOPLIN, Mo. - Our next upper-level low will strengthen as it moves across the southwestern parts of the United States Tuesday. The low will be traveling across California and work into the Great Basin and the Four Corners through Tuesday evening. With a developing surface front and low pressure working together with the upper low, that will mean another day of t-storm chacnes to our northwest.
The system won't have a lot in the way of deep-layer shear or buoyancy to work with just yet. Thankfully, that will really limit how strong any t-storms get on Tuesday. No severe threat is expected, but t-storms will be possible from the Great Basin and Desert Southwest and stretching across the Northern Plains and into parts of the Great Lakes.
