JOPLIN, Mo. - Our Friday is looking like a similar setup that we had on Thursday. With our front still near the area and another disturbance in the upper levels sneaking in, we'll have another round of t-storms this morning. Nothing severe is expected, but we could have some embedded pockets of heavy rain once again to start the day out.
A few upper level disturbances out west and to the east could cause a little severe weather today. A marignal risk has been outlined for parts of Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, and parts of the Dakotas. T-storms out that way this afternoon and evening could cause some gusty winds and some hail. The same goes for the marginal risk out for parts of Virginia and North Carolina. Those t-storms later on this afternoon and evening could also cause some high winds and some hail.
