Wednesday Morning Blog: Warm with thunderstorms, plus big changes

Warm with thunderstorms, plus big changes

Good Wednesday morning!  I hope your week is going great!  Mine has been pretty good.  Days are just ticking by.  I can't believe it is fall pretty much.  We are about to see a big switch in our weather.  Remember, the Heady Pattern sets up each and every year the 3rd week of September.  We are already in the new cycle but here in one week we will see a switch b/c the new pattern is in place.  We are out of the weak El Nino and this next year will be in a neutral phase.  Now it all depends what the Heady Pattern has for us, but I do know we will have a colder winter but not as wet this next year.  Lets watch this set-up over the next few weeks.

Another warm/hot day today.

Take a look at the radar below.

We look good today but our next cold front rolls in tomorrow.  Most of the day will be the same, partly sunny with highs near 90.  However, after 6pm, storms will develop.

Some of these storms could be strong with winds at 60 and small hail.  Also an inch of rain is very possible.  The front passes with morning showers on Friday.  Then we look great!

We will be watching a tropical wave next week with some moisture on Monday and Tuesday, but another week.  It is a week and a half from now when the new HP sets up.

This is the official start of the new Heady Pattern.  Remember the new cycle is already in place since mid August.  So we are about halfway through the first cycle.  This is a morphed cycle but the new one.  I am so geeking out over this, sorry lol.  Long range forecast is below.
