Tuesday AM Blog: Heat Advisory, some storms and your long range forecast.

Heat Advisory, some storms and your long range

Good Tuesday morning!  I hope your week has started off great.  Mine has been pretty good.  I am a busy body so I am always doing something.  I mowed before work yesterday and about died from the humidity.  We will have that again for us today.  Not to much out there right now.

Take a look at the radar below.

Again, we will be in the mid 90s with the high humidity.  So that means a heat advisory for the humidity being so high.  I think the heat index will push 110 degrees once again this afternoon.  There is a very slight chance we could get an isolated storm, but most of you will stay dry.

The heat sticks around into Wednesday.  However, a cold front will push in with better chances for storms late Wednesday and Wednesday night.

With this front, this will cool us back into the upper 80s the rest of the week and into the weekend.  However, we will continue with chances for scattered storms with the front hanging around.

We are still right on track with the Heady Pattern.  But the new pattern is appearing more and more and we will see a full transition in the next month.  I am super excited to see what the next pattern will provide us over the next year.  Don't forget, my long range forecast is below.

Long range forecast through Middle September:

Next Week:  Mainly a hot week with temperatures near 90.  Thunderstorm chances Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  These are afternoon pop up storms.

September 1st-7th:  A warm week with chances for thunderstorms scattered about Wednesday through the weekend.

September 8th-14th:  Another warm week with mainly 80s for highs.  Thunderstorm chances on Sunday and Monday, then again Friday and Saturday.

September 15th-21st:  Thunderstorms chances on Sunday and Monday, then turning cooler.  Mild temperatures for Monday and Tuesday.  Warming up a bit on Wednesday and Thursday with thunderstorms back in on Thursday and Friday.  Mild temperatures for the weekend.

September 22nd-28th:  Mainly a mild week.  A little warmer for the middle of the week.  Thunderstorms chances with a cold front on Wednesday and Thursday.
