JOPLIN, Mo. - Good late Thursday evening, everyone. Our Thursday turned out to be a pretty good day. Once we got past the cool start, mostly sunny skies worked together with a south breeze to warm us back to about 70 degrees this afternoon. We're headed for another cool start to our Friday, but we'll keep the overnight quiet on the radar below...
Looking at the next several days, we have quite a few storm systems that are lining up for us. A couple of these systems will be working through the area this weekend. Fortunately, it won't be a washout this weekend, and we'll continue to stay mild. We'll time out those rain chances, plus see how the week ahead is shaping up, down below...

Long range forecast through late November:
LONG RANGE FORECAST BASED OFF THE HEADY PATTERN. THIS COVERS NEBRASKA, IOWA, KANSAS, MISSOURI, OKLAHOMA AND ARKANSAS.
Next Week: Stronger system rolls out on Sunday and Monday with good chances for rain. Temperatures will cool back down for a couple of days. Next cold front is due in on Thursday with some showers and turning sharply cooler again. Staying cool into the weekend.
October 27th-November 2nd: The first half of the week will be cold to cool. Mainly a dry week with rain chances by the weekend.
November 3rd-9th: Mainly a mild week with a stronger system on Wednesday and Thursday with good rain chances. Turning much cooler the rest of the week.
November 10th-16th: Temperatures up and down through the week. Rain chances Tuesday and Wednesday, then another system on Friday and Saturday.
November 17th-23rd: A cold first half of the week with rain chances on Monday and Tuesday. Warming up a bit late in the week with our next front and rain chances on Friday.
