Late Saturday August 24th - T-storms back in action once again

Followed by a cooler than normal week

JOPLIN, Mo. - Good Saturday evening, everyone. Our Saturday started out with quite a bit of scattered t-storms across the area. If you didn't see the t-storms today, we had quite a bit of cloud cover keeping temperatures cooler than normal. Normally, we should have highs in the lower 90s at this point in the month of August. Today, we had to make due with highs in the upper 70s. We're starting the late night out on a calm note, but we are tracking t-storms off to the west on the radar below...

Our Sunday is looking like another repeat of today. We'll have t-storms to start the morning out with scattered t-storms possible in the afternoon. Despite that and the cloud cover, we should end the day on another warm note. As for the week ahead, we'll quickly rebound into the lower 90s by Monday before our next system rolls on in. Your look at the week ahead is right below...

Don't forget that Doug has your long range forecast out through late September down below.

Have a good night and a great Sunday!

Nick
