Volunteers clean up trails after flooding
JOPLIN, Mo. — Flood waters take a toll on Joplin trails, but the Wildcat Glades Friends Group is doing their part to get things back on track.
Volunteers began cleaning up limbs and debris.
The Eagles Nest Landing play area got some TLC, being reassembled on the old Wildcat Baseball Fields.
Volunteers say keeping Wildcat Glades clean and safe for visitors is always their goal, rain or shine.
“Wildcat Glades is a beautiful place. We think it has a lot of opportunity, a lot of potential. So, we are trying to create the best possible atmosphere for people to recreate, be educated and protect this beautiful place out here,” said Steve Gaarder with the Wildcat Glades Friends Group.
The Wildcat Glades Friends Group is always looking for volunteers.
