Victim in stable condition after shooting near Carthage
JASPER COUNTY, Mo. – Authorities release details after a man is found with gunshot wounds at a home in southwest Missouri.
On Feb. 9, 2020, around 11:15 a.m., deputies were sent to the area of 17244 Jack Pine Rd near Carthage about a male with gunshot wounds.
Deputies arrived and found a man in the home with gunshot wounds to the arms and chest area. The male victim was identified as Randy S. Teague, 37, of Joplin.
EMS took Teague to a local hospital for treatment and is listed in stable condition at this time.
Authorities arrested Dustin L. Kisling, 48, of Carthage and took him to the Jasper County Detention Center. The Prosecutor’s Office has charged him with First Degree Assault and Armed Criminal Action. Authorities say there is no bond.
The Sheriff’s Office says Teague, Kisling and the witness at the home are all acquaintances.
