Vernon County man charged in burglary investigation
VERNON COUNTY, Mo. — Police arrest Zachary Guenther, 30, of Milo, Missouri in connection to a burglary investigation.
The Vernon County Sheriff’s Office took a report on Monday afternoon of a burglary on 2600 Rd, northeast of Sheldon.
Mosher said, “the suspect vehicle was located at a residence Tuesday evening by a Sheriff’s Deputy, with the help of some citizens.”
Detectives got a search warrant for a location on Underwood Rd, east of Milo. They found stolen property from the burglary, drug paraphernalia and a firearm.
Mosher said, “the suspect arrived at the residence while the search warrant was being executed, making the Detectives job much easier.”
Police arrested the suspect, identified as Guenther, at the scene. They took him to the Vernon County Jail on a $10,000 cash only bond.
The Prosecutor’s Office filed charges against Guenther of Burglary 2nd Degree, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Stealing and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
