Vehicle service in Joplin continues during pandemic

JOPLIN, Mo. – While the Coronavirus has shut down many businesses, Reeves Tire and Auto in Joplin is staying busy while taking precautions.

Customers are still allowed to sit in the lobby to wait while vehicles are being serviced, but only at a safe social distance.

Mechanics are wearing protective gear and using floorboard covers to limit direct contact.

Like most places, the shop is adapting to limit the spread of germs. They’re sanitizing frequently and offering a free delivery service to customers.

“We are encouraging customers to drop their vehicle off when they can, but we are also offering a free Reeves Tire valet service, where we will come pick up your vehicle and we’ll bring it back,” said Kristen Cristy with Reeves Tire and Auto.

The shop is also offering a text-to-pay option so customers can take care of their bill from their smart phone.
