RELEASE FROM PITTSBURG STATE ATHLETICS:

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Three members of the Pittsburg State University volleyball team – senior rightside hitter Lauren Regier, sophomore setter Camryn Blanton and junior libero Lauren Dunn – were named to the All-Tournament Team for their play at the season-opening Christian Brothers University Invitational last weekend.

Regier, a Newton, Kan., native, led the Gorillas with 50 kills, averaging 3.33 kills per set. She also compiled nine total blocks (0.60 bpg) and a team-leading 54.5 points (3.63 pps) to help lead Pitt State to a 4-0 match record in the two-day tournament.

Blanton, a Lenexa, Kan., native, recorded 131 assists, averaging 8.73 assists per set for the weekend. She also added 50 digs (3.33 dps).

Dunn, a Louisburg, Kan., native, led the Gorillas defense with 92 digs (6.13 digs per set). She recorded a team-high nine service aces as well.
