Two flown to Springfield after serious crash near Lockwood, Mo.

DADE COUNTY, Mo. — Late Saturday afternoon just after 5 p.m. Dade County MO-911 were alerted to reports of a serious crash on US-160 about three miles west of Lockwood.
Dade County Sheriff’s office, Cox Health and Lockwood Fire Dept responded. Missouri State Highway Patrol were notified.
The crash was between two vehicles and two people were flown to Springfield from the crash scene with serious injuries.
Involved in the crash was a 2022 Ford F-350 being driven by Bodie Emmons, 43, of Fairfield, Tex. he was driving north on State Route H and failed to yield at US-160 to the second vehicle.
2017 GMC Acadia was being driven by Amanda Williams, 34, of Greenfield, Mo. She was traveling eastbound on US-160.

Five suffered injuries. Three were taken by ambulance to Freeman West at Joplin. Driver Amanda Williams suffered moderate injuries. Two juveniles, girl and boy, 4 and 5, suffered minor and moderate injuries respectively.
Two were flown to Springfield, Cox South, suffering serious injuries. Susan Dodd, 60, of Stockton, Mo. a passenger in the Emmons pickup. And a boy, 13, suffered serious injuries from the Williams vehicle.
