Traffic stop arrest
MCDONALD COUNTY, Mo. – A traffic stop ended in an arrest after drugs and multiple firearms were seized in McDonald County.
The Anderson Police Department says an officer pulled over a truck with invalid license plates on September 22nd.
The driver reportedly had a handgun within arm’s reach.
The officer secured the gun and noticed the serial number was filed off.
A further search revealed a sawed off shotgun, a rifle, about six grams of meth and meth paraphernalia.
The driver was taken into custody for possession of a defaced firearm, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of an illegal weapon.
