LAWRENCE COUNTY, Mo. — About 11 a.m. Monday morning tipsters alerted us to an I-44 crash that closed the westbound lanes near 54 mile marker.

A tractor-trailer crossed the median and crashed into a rock wall on the westbound lanes. The trailer overturned across both westbound lanes.

Biellier’s Towing have been summoned from nearby Mount Vernon, Mo. The goal we are told is to move the crash to the shoulder to open at least one lane of traffic. Expect delays for hours along this westbound corridor.

Unknown injuries to the driver of the tractor-trailer.
