The road wasn’t blocked for long. The tractor trailer was able to pull to the shoulder on its own power and M&M Wrecker arrived to remove the SUV so traffic began flowing again at 12:10 a.m.

The two occupants of the SUV had exited the vehicle before it was struck by the tractor trailer. So there were no injuries. They remained on the scene.

It was unclear why the SUV was abandoned in the roadway.

After some repairs to the tractor trailer it was able to make it to the next exit to determine repairs to the front clip.
