Release from Grove Area Chamber of Commerce:

GROVE, Okla., June 11, 2020 — The third annual Toes in the Grand Festival will be taking place June 12-14 at Grove’s Wolf Creek Park. The Grove Area Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to join the fun of this celebration of summer and our laid-back, lake lifestyle here on Grand Lake, and enjoy Mid America’s largest free Trop Rock music festival with great music, food and fun including the first major fireworks display of the season at Grand Lake!

Great Trop Rock Music

Trop Rock music – think Jimmy Buffet/Margaritaville-style music – is the theme of the festival and a great depiction of our lake lifestyle in Grove & Grand Lake.  In fact, the Toes in the Grand Festival is Mid-America’s LARGEST free Trop Rock music festival. This year’s lineup includes The COPA Reefers Band, Something Steel Band, and our headliner, The Beach Cats. The music will begin Friday with the American Heritage Music Festival & Fiddling Contest and will conclude on Saturday night with our grand finale, the first fireworks show of the summer season here in Grand Lake over Wolf Creek Bay.  Sponsored by Plum Farmaceuticals, the fireworks show is sure to be a “blast” and a great way to wrap-up an incredible weekend of fun and great music!

Visitors are encouraged to exercise social distancing and bring their own lawn chairs or blankets, as communal seating will not be provided.

Enjoy a Bird’s Eye View of Grand Lake on our Helicopter Rides

One of the most popular activities from the first Toes in the Grand Festival was the exciting helicopter rides over Grove & Grand Lake. Great news – we will be having helicopter rides again this year!

Food Trucks and Vendors

In addition to all of the other festival fun, the Toes in the Grand is also a special edition of The Grove Block Party event – located at Wolf Creek Park instead of Downtown Grove and lasting not one but two days!  A wide variety of food trucks will be at the festival both days offering some tasty treats, to include festival favorites and everything from barbecue to gourmet hot dogs.  In addition to the food trucks, there will be a good selection of vendors offering their wares at the festival – ranging from home décor items and outdoor furniture to local businesses showcasing the services that they can provide to help you enjoy “Living the Grand life.”
