Storms continue this evening but improves Friday.
Good Thursday evening! We have been watching the strong storms rolling through the area this evening. These storms will continue over the next several hours. Some of these will be strong, but most will stay under severe limits. I expect, most areas will get 1/2-1″ of rain with some isolated higher amounts.

These storms will continue to weaken mainly after 9pm. Take a look at 11pm.
A few morning showers, then partly sunny and a great Friday, high of 83. We will drop back into the upper 70s for the evening hours for high school football.
We heat back up over the weekend. We will be near 90 most of next week with a few scattered showers from some tropical moisture. Check out the long range forecast below.

September 29th-October 5th: A cool start to the week. We will go back to mild temps by mid week with rain chances on Thursday and Friday.
October 6th-12th: A mild start to the week with rain chances. Then a cool mid week with mild temperatures again late in the week.
