Three arrested at Pittsburg Apartment Complex
On Tuesday afternoon, February 2, 2016, law enforcement officers from the Pittsburg Police Department served an arrest warrant at a residence located at 3000 N. Joplin St., Apartment 13, Pittsburg. The PPD was notified that Wesley W. Wilson, an absconder from the Kansas Department of Corrections was possibly in Pittsburg.
Pursuant to the investigation, officers made contact with the occupants of the 3000 N. Joplin St. apartment and located three individuals, along with methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
25 year old Wesley W. Wilson, of Chanute, Kansas, was arrested on an arrest warrant issued through the Neosho County, Kansas, District Court, for charges of Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Battery, Criminal Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Aggravated Burglary with a bond amount of $145,000.
Wilson was also arrested for Felony Possession of Prescription Medication, Felony Interference with Law Enforcement and Identity Theft and is being held on a $5,000 bond.
28 year old male, of Cherokee, Kansas, was arrested for Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Felony Interference with Law Enforcement and Felony Obstructing Apprehension or Prosecution. He is being held on a $5,000 bond.
35 year old male, of Humboldt, Kansas, was arrested for Felony Interference with Law Enforcement and Felony Obstructing Apprehension or Prosecution. He is being held on a $5,000 bond.
