JOPLIN, Mo. — The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory until Thursday evening at 8 p.m. so plan accordingly. Stay out of direct sunlight, dress in light colors, avoid carrying things so you can have movement, go shopping inside the shops where it’s cool!
Watch for the SOLIDARITY WALK that begins at 6 p.m. at 2nd & Main. Participants will walk down to the 600 Block to the JACC EDI (Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce Equality and Diversity Inclusion) Workgroup’s booth to take the YOU BELONG PLEDGE.
