The Joplin Spiva Center hosts a 48-hour film festival

JOPLIN, Mo. – Filmmakers across the 4-states set out to create their next production. The Spiva Center for the arts in Joplin is hosting a 48-hour film festival. What that means is, competitors have 48-hours to make a three minute short film. All films will be shown four times next Thursday. They’ll then be judged by a panel followed by an awards ceremony. The deadline for teams to submit their entries is 6:00PM Saturday.
