T-storms to our southeast Friday
While our snow chances move out of here
Our Friday will start out with scattered snow across a good portion of the area. As our upper level wave continues to move on throughout the day, we’ll see the snow come to an end before the afternoon gets underway. Total snow accumulations for Friday should climb to about an inch before we see highs climb into the middle to upper 30s.
On the warm side of this wave, it will continue to work together with a frontal system at the surface along parts of the Gulf and Atlantic Coast. T-storm chances will be possible Friday afternoon and evening from Florida up to parts of Maryland and Delaware. Even though there will be enough instability, lift and moisture for t-storms to develop, severe weather is not expected.
