T-storm chances stick with us for Thursday
Severe threat wants to clip the area
After we see the warm front return for Wednesday, a trailing cold front will work in from the northwest for Thursday. Ahead of the wave, we’ll have highs back in the upper 70s with moisture, instability, lift and some upper level support to spawn scattered t-storms Thursday afternoon and evening. The Storm Prediction Center does have a slight risk for southeast Kansas and southwest Missouri north of I-44. Any storms that can get severe on Thursday will be mainly capable of large hail and some damaging wind gusts.
