T-storm chances look to return Wednesday
Severe threat stays very low
JOPLIN, Mo. — As we hit the middle of the week, our cold front will begin to work back into the area. The returning front could bring a few t-storms to our northern counties to start the morning out, but better rain chances will work back in late in the afternoon and into Wednesday evening.
With the setup that will be working in, though, we won’t have to worry too much about severe weather. While the Storm Prediction Center has us under a marginal risk for severe weather, we’re expecting just rain and t-storms around here. We can’t rule out a few t-storms that could bring some small hail and some wind gusts, but we’re not anticipating widespread severe weather for Wednesday.
