T-Storm chances in south central US Tuesday
Some t-storms could be strong
Joplin, MO — For Tuesday, we’ll keep things quiet with partly sunny skies and highs possibly pushing into the lower 60s during the afternoon. Across the rest of the country, we’ll see an upper level system work into the state of Texas during the day.
This system will eventually bring rain chances our way during the middle of the week, but this could spark some t-storms across parts of southern Texas. The best timing for that looks to be during Tuesday evening and heading into early Wednesday morning. This setup is not looking like a suitable one for severe weather, but there could be some strong t-storms with some lightning and some pockets of heavy rain.
