Systems to watch on the weekly planner

As cooler air finds its way back in

The weekly planner shows our next cold front on the way for Thursday and other waves down the road picking up a bit of moisture. The cold front on Thursday will bring a few showers our way during the morning hours before we turn partly sunny and dry for the afternoon as highs drop back into the upper 40s. For Friday, the upper-level wave that will bring in our cold front will bring in additional moisture as we see highs turn colder. That means light snow showers will be possible during the day as highs top out in the middle 30s. With another wave for Saturday and Sunday, we’ll stay mostly cloudy and cool with highs in the lower 40s. That weekend wave could bring in a few snow showers for Saturday night and Sunday morning. A bump back into the lower 50s with another wave on Monday means we’ll have some scattered showers returning to the forecast. It’ll drop back to a few morning showers on Tuesday as highs temporarily drop back into the upper 40s. Another wave by Wednesday could have a few showers back in before better rain chances by next Thursday. Look for highs next Wednesday to climb back into the lower 50s.
