Carl Junction kids raised funds for a local K-9 program, benefiting veterans.

Students with Destination Imagination, an after school program centered around project-based learning—decided to raise money for Thin Red Line K-9, a service dog program for disabled veterans under the direction of Compass Quest Veteran Services.

The group hosted a silent auction at Hershey’s Ice Cream shop in Webb City, and accepted donations throughout the day, handing out dog treats to generous givers.

All money raised will go towards service dog training and certification.
