CARTHAGE, Mo. — Students at Steadley Elementary in Carthage, Missouri are feeling ‘Ethan Strong.’
Students, teachers and faculty wore orange on March 1st, 2019, at the monthly awards assembly in support of Ethan Roberts, a kindergarten student who was diagnosed with leukemia. They’re calling the effort ‘Ethan Strong’.
Orange is recognized as the color for leukemia awareness and support.
Ethan is undergoing treatment at St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Ten. The treatment has a 70% success rate.
His family is thankful for all of the support.
The school will be selling orange wrist bands this spring to raise funds for the family as well as donations for St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
