Staying Dry for Sunday
While our next wave keeps t-storms to our south and west
With rain chances picking back up this afternoon and rain looking likely for Saturday, we can at least salvage a dry Sunday across the area. However, our next upper level wave coming out of the Pacific Northwest will get our next wave of rain chances ready for the coming week. For Sunday, though, it will trigger t-storms stretching from Texas through the Deep South and into the Carolina Coast. There is a marginal risk for severe weather for extreme southeast New Mexico and western Texas for Sunday afternoon and evening. A few storms in that region could produce some small hail and some gusty wind.
