Staying chilly to mild on the weekly planner

A few chances for rain on the board as well

The updated weekly planner shows an interesting warming trend that will take us into the Christmas Holiday. With mostly sunny skies and a light southerly breeze for Wednesday, we’ll go from a cold start to highs back in the upper 50s. Even with mostly cloudy skies lined up for Thursday and Christmas Eve, we’ll go from the lower 60s on Thursday to highs around 72° on Christmas Eve. With the record high for Christmas Eve set at 73° back in 1955, we’ll make a run for it this time around. Even though we’ll drop the thermostat a bit for Christmas Day under mostly cloudy skies, it will still be mild with highs in the middle 60s. By Sunday, we’ll watch a weak pass by to keep mostly cloudy skies in place and bring some scattered showers our way. It will also cool us back down with highs in the upper 40s across the region. After a dry Monday with highs back in the middle 50s, we’ll go back into the middle 60s on Tuesday as rain chances look to return.
