SWMO All-Stars stay hot at Premier Baseball Junior Championship

SWMO is 5-0 at the tournament through Friday

JOPLIN, Mo. - The Southwest Missouri All-Stars are on a roll at the Premier Baseball Junior Championship tournament in Joplin.

Southwest Missouri finished pool play with a 3-0 record, earning a spot in championship bracket play on Friday. SWMO overcame a 6-run deficit in their championship bracket opener against the Arlington A's Friday morning, scoring 11 straight to win 11-6.

They followed that up with a 10-8 win over the Texas Stix Mistler squad Friday afternoon. Webb City's Cale McCallister went 3-3 with 5 RBI while Devrin Weathers went 3-4 with 1 RBI and 3 runs scored.

Southwest Missouri is now 5-0 in the tournament, and will be back on the field on Saturday morning at Joplin High School facing the Rawlings Tigers Quatro squad. You can check out the tournament schedule HERE
