Pitt State's Miller named NCBA DII All-American

Miller led the nation with 101 strikeouts

PITTSBURG, Kan. - Pittsburg State club baseball pitcher Jordan Miller has been named an NCBA Division II All-American.

Miller was named to the All-America 2nd team on Thursday afternoon. 

Miller was great for the Gorillas all season long. He posted an 8-3 record on the mound in 12 appearances, helping Pittsburg State claim the NCBA Division II National Championship. He led the nation with 101 strikeouts this season, and had a 2.67 ERA.

He was a big part of Pitt State's run in the NCBA DII World Series. Miller threw two complete game shutouts, throwing 14 innings and striking out 18 batters in the tournament. He was named the tournament MVP for PSU.
