Some rain chances for Tuesday
With any t-storms and severe weather staying southwest
Our Tuesday will start out with scattered rain in the morning and another shot for a few showers late in afternoon. The Storm Prediction Center does have the area in a general risk for t-storms, but that applies for Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.
Fortunately, we won’t have to deal with a severe threat for Tuesday. That’s staying out in southwestern parts of Oklahoma and western parts of Texas. The upper level wave out in the western United States, along with the frontal boundary and dry line out in western and northern Texas, will provide the better shot for severe t-storms in that region. That area, especially with the slight risk, will have the better chance for t-storms with large hail and damaging winds being the main threats for Tuesday afternoon and evening.
