Six Chiefs selected to NFL Pro Bowl
Patrick Mahomes has earned his first Pro Bowl trip
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Six members of the Kansas City Chiefs have earned nominations to play in the 2019 NFL Pro Bowl in January.
Offensively, QB Patrick Mahomes (1st selection), OT Eric Fisher (1st selection), WR Tyreek Hill (3rd selection), TE Travis Kelce (4th selection) and FB Anthony Sherman (1st selection) will have a chance to play in the game.
Mahomes leads the NFL in passing yards and passing touchdowns, racking up 4,543 yards and 45 touchdowns.
Tyreek Hill has 78 receptions for 1,304 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Travis Kelce has 93 catches for 1,220 yards and 10 scores.
The lone defensive player from Kansas City to be selected to the Pro Bowl is linebacker Dee Ford (1st selection).
Ford has started all 14 games for the Chiefs. He already has a career-high in tackles (45 tkl) with 11.5 sacks.
The 2019 NFL Pro Bowl will be on January 27th at 2:00 PM Central. Kansas City’s 6th selections are 2nd most in the league. The Chargers are the only team in the league to have 7 players earn Pro Bowl nods.
