Sheriff looks for two people after “dangerous pursuit” northeast Oklahoma

The Mayes County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two people who allegedly ran on foot after a police chase in northeast Oklahoma.

On October 15th, deputies tried to stop a truck in the early morning hours. Authorities say the truck failed to yield, leading officers on a dangerous pursuit “all over Mayes County.”

The GRDA, Pryor, Choteau and Locust Grove Police Departments assisted.

After law enforcement deployed stop sticks twice, the truck came to a stop. Two people in the vehicle ran into the woods. Authorities apprehended the woman, but while deputies were busy, the female escaped back into the woods.

The woman is identified as Jimmie Beth Falling. The man is identified as Leonard Ray Richardson, Jr.
