Two suspects in a McDonald County assault case enter plea deals.

On August 4th, 2017, the McDonald County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about a person with a stab wound. The victim was supposed to be at the old newspaper office at the intersection of the 71 Business and EE Highway near Pineville. The victim was found and told authorities a suspect’s first name, the location where the incident happened and that there was possibly another victim.

The suspect, Alan Tucker, was found in Neosho with the second victim. Tucker was arrested and charged with two counts of first degree assault and two counts of armed criminal action.

The owner of the home where the altercation took place, John Henson, was charged with manufacturing a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm.

All victims survived.

On July 20th, 2018, Henson pleaded guilty to manufacturing a controlled substance and is scheduled to be sentenced on October 16th, 2018.

On September 4th, 2018, Tucker pleaded guilty to one count of first degree assault and was sentenced to five years of supervised probation.
