WEWOKA, Okla. – Wewoka High School avoided a forfeit during their football game last week due to having a lack of players; however, two senior girls saved the day.

Natalie Davis (9) and Callie Ramsey (5) suited up with the hopes of helping their fellow Tigers defeat Mounds High School on September 23.

Davis’ job on the field was to kickoff  and punt the ball. Even though she was making plays with her feet, she also got a tackle in.

Despite their best efforts, Mounds defeated Wewoka 47-14. The Tigers will still remember this day for the act of kindness from these two girls.
