School cancellation list, Joplin Schools called parents
JOPLIN REGION — Many schools are cancelling for Wednesday with the forecast calling for hazardous road conditions.
Joplin Schools automated calling system let parents know about 6 p.m. that school is cancelled and could be the rest of the week.
“Good evening Eagle Nation. Due to the chance of severe weather forecasted for tomorrow and potentially dangerous road conditions to follow. In an abundance of caution Joplin Schools will be closed. Stay tuned for updated weather conditions this week.”
