Saturday Evening December 21st – Staying quiet going into Christmas
Pattern picks up late next week
JOPLIN, Mo. — Good Saturday evening, everyone. Our Saturday started out with mostly cloudy skies and some scattered showers from early this morning. Fortunately, we saw the skies turn partly to mostly sunny throughout the day. That allowed highs to climb into the lower to middle 50s this afternoon. While the radar below will stay dry through the night, we’ll be keeping an eye on areas of fog through the night as temperatures drop close to the dew point….
After we get past the fog by the start of Sunday afternoon, we’ll have skies turning partly to mostly sunny once again. The week ahead has us staying rather mild for Monday through Christmas Day. Around Christmas and especially by the end of the week, that’s when the pattern will start to pick up once again. Your look at the week ahead, including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, is right below…
Don’t forget that Doug has your long range forecast out through February 1st down below.
Have a good night and a great Sunday!
