Santa brings Christmas to the Freeman NICU
JOPLIN, Mo. — Freeman officials say Santa Claus left the North Pole a few days early to make a pre-Christmas stop at Freeman NICU and Freeman Pediatrics Unit. The Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals helped organize the event.
Santa delivered presents and posed for photos with babies and children who will be away from home for the holidays.
Freeman NICU opened in 1984 and has helped more than 10,000 infants. Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals helps children from birth to 21 in a 14-county area in Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma.
