Sandye Sue Beasley, 76, of Parsons, died at 3:08 P.M., Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the Olathe Medical Center at Olathe, KS.

She was born November 15, 1943 at Columbus, KS, a daughter of Ralph Edward and Mildred Lucille (Mast) Walker. She was raised in Columbus and attended school there. She later attended the Labette Community College and received an Associate’s Degree. She then began employment as an administrative assistant at the Parsons State Hospital and Training Center and retired in 1998 after thirty-three years.

She was united in marriage to Melvin D. Beasley on January 15, 1966 at Columbus. He preceded her in death on June 16, 2009.

She enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with her grandkids and Fur Babies.

Survivors include: one son and daughter in-law – Neal and Pam Beasley, Lenexa, KS; six daughters – Kathy J. Lenati, and her husband, Sam, Parsons, KS, Melody Depoy, and her husband, Glenn, Bartlesville, OK, Susan J. Houdyshell, and her husband Floyd, Cedar Hill, TX, Shannan J. Newberry, and her husband, Todd, Erie, KS, Heather D. Carlisle, Tulsa, OK, Amber L. Grant, and her husband, Tony, Olathe, KS; one brother – Steven R. Walker, Tulsa, OK; one sister and brother in-law – Sharon K. and Gary Hanks, Independence, KS.

Private graveside services will be held Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Oakwood with Sandye’s grandson, Jeremy Mohney, leading the ceremony. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 9:00 Thursday evening at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home.
