RV being used as residence destroyed in fire

The family has set up a Go Fund Me for small expenses for the resident

NEWTON COUNTY, Mo. — About 4:00 a.m. Monday, Newton County Central Dispatch were alerted to an RV Fire at 5728 State Route C. The RV was being used as a temporary residence.
Redings Mill Fire, Newton County Sheriff’s Deputies and Newton County Ambulance responded.

Those inside the RV were out safely however it was close and threatening to spread to a home, along with other vehicles and a boat.

Redings Mill Fire requested Joplin Fire as mutual aid.

Family members we know said it was a total loss, but were thankful no one was hurt.
