Royals manager Ned Yost announces retirement
Yost will coach his final game Sunday
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Royals have announced that manager Ned Yost will retire at the end of this season. Yost will coach his final game on Sunday, when the Royals play the Minnesota Twins.

Yost leaves the team as the winningest manager in franchise history. He currently has 744 wins in Kansas City.
Yost led the team to back-to-back AL pennants in 2014 and 2015, including winning the World Series in 2015.
